“The teacher is of course an artist, but being an artist does not mean that he or she can make the profile, can shape the students. What the educator does in teaching is to make it possible for the students to become themselves.”

I started teaching ESL as a volunteer, and it changed the course of my entire life. If you’d like to volunteer with my program, please review the opportunities below.

Assistant Teacher
Volunteer as an assistant teacher in our classes! See how online learning works, meet our students, and get valuable experience!
Conversation Partner Program
I will match you with a student who wants to practice speaking English and will send you questions that can help you guide the conversation. No experience required! It’s literally just talking – it helps students gain confidence and get valuable communication practice.
Pen Pal Program
I will match you with a student who wants to work on their writing skills. I will send you prompts that you can use in your emails. No experience required! It gives students an opportunity to practice their written communication skills.
